General conditions of sale
Booking one of our guest rooms implies full acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. They are subject to change without notice.
Periods and rates 2024
Room rates depend on the season:
• Low season: from 31/01 to 10/04 and 03/11 to 15/12
• Mid season: from 11/04 to 12/06 and from 15/09 to 02/10
• High season: from 13/06 to 14/09
Reservations must be for a minimum of two nights, whatever the season.
The rates shown on the Maison Kazaart website are valid for 2025. However, they are subject to change without notice.
Breakfast is included. This excludes any reduction on the room rate if breakfast is not taken.
A tourist tax of 0.85 euro per person per night is charged in addition in accordance with article L 2333-29 et seq. of the Code Général des Collectivités Territoriales.
Length of stay
The stay is agreed for a fixed period specified in the booking confirmation received by the customer. Under no circumstances may the customer claim any right to remain in the property.par le client. En aucune circonstance, le client pourra se prévaloir d’un quelconque droit au maintien dans les lieux.
Capacity
Kazaart’s two bedrooms are designed to comfortably accommodate 2 adults. They are not suitable for children. As the rooms do not have separable beds, it is also difficult to accommodate teenagers.
The rooms are not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Withdrawal
In accordance with article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, relating in particular to accommodation services provided on a specific date or at a specific time, no right of withdrawal may be exercised.
Cancellation
For bookings made via the Kazaart website
– More than 21 days before your arrival date: cancellation free of charge.
– Between 21 and 10 days before your arrival date, you will be required to pay 30% of the total cost of your stay, corresponding to the deposit paid by credit card at the time of booking.
– 10 days or more before your arrival date or in the event of a no-show*, you will be required to pay 100% of the total cost of your stay. The outstanding amount will be debited from the credit card used to pay the deposit.
*In the event of no-show before 10 p.m. on the agreed date, the contract will lapse and we will be able to make use of our guest rooms.
All cancellations must be made in writing by post or e-mail.
For bookings made via AirBnB or Booking.com
Please refer to the terms and conditions stipulated on their respective websites.
Special conditions COVID-19
Between the date of your reservation and the date of your scheduled arrival, in the event of new government restrictions related to COVID preventing your stay, cancellations are free of charge until the day before your arrival.
Cancellation by the owner
In the event of force majeure (illness, damage caused by bad weather, fire, etc.), we may cancel your holiday without notice by informing you immediately by post or e-mail. The sums paid at the time of booking will be refunded in full.
Changes
Any change to the date of your stay is subject to availability. More than 21 days before your arrival date, simply cancel your initial stay free of charge and make a new reservation. Less than 21 days before your arrival date, it is not possible to change the dates of your stay, unless you pay compensation of 30% (between 21 and 10 days) or 100% (less than 10 days) of the amount of your initial stay. If, in the meantime, we rent out the room(s) left vacant, we undertake to refund the compensation paid.
In the event of early departure, the full amount of your stay will be retained.
Payment and conditions
The balance of the nights, meals and drinks must be paid at the end of the stay on presentation of an itemised invoice. We accept payment in cash (in euros only) and by credit card (Visa and MasterCard).
For payment of the balance of the nights by bank transfer (in euros only), payment must be made to our account no later than 2 days before the start of the holiday. Additional services will be paid at the end of your stay in cash or by credit card.
Availability of rooms
Check-in is from 5 pm to 8 pm. In the event of unforeseen delays or delayed arrivals, it is essential to inform us (2 telephone numbers are available).
If you do not arrive before 10 p.m. on the agreed date, the contract will be considered null and void and we will be able to dispose of our guest rooms.
Use and respect of the house
The customer must respect the peaceful character of our house for the well-being and comfort of all. They will use the areas made available to them privately (rooms) or free of charge (communal areas) in accordance with their intended purpose.
They undertake not to eat any food inside their room.
The entire house, including the rooms, is non-smoking.
It is strictly forbidden to throw any object whatsoever into the WC.
The customer undertakes to return the room in perfect condition at the end of the stay, and to declare and pay for any damage for which he/she may be responsible.
The swimming pool
The swimming pool, which is not heated, is open from 10am to 8pm. Night-time swimming and diving are prohibited.
Use of the pool is strictly reserved for B&B guests and owners.
Users undertake to wear swimwear reserved for swimming only and to use the foutas provided or their own towels.
Parking
The house does not have a parking space. However, parking spaces are available nearby.
Checking out
On the day of your departure, your room must be vacated by 11:00 at the latest.
Insurance
The tenant certifies that he/she is covered by civil liability insurance covering damage to persons and property.
Maison Kazaart certifies that it is covered by insurance covering its Professional Civil Liability arising from its bed and breakfast activity.
Personal belongings
Maison Kazaart declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to guests’ personal belongings. If any belongings are left in the room at the end of the stay, they will be returned to the address indicated on the booking form at the customer’s expense.
Pets
Pets are not allowed. If you arrive with a pet, we will be obliged to refuse you access to our house. This refusal can in no way be considered as a modification or a breach of the rental contract at the owner’s initiative, and no reimbursement can be considered.
Disputes
All disputes arising from our services and/or these General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall be submitted to the courts of the jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal of Nîmes.
